QROWD flyer

I recently produced this publicity flyer for QROWD, a new Horizon2020 project that’s using open and crowdsourced data to reduce traffic congestion and make travel safer and more efficient.

In keeping with the transport theme, I used two well-known European road sign fonts: Transport (UK) for headings, and DIN 1451 (Germany) for body text, using colours reminiscent of British Rail publications. The front background image is taken from a photograph I took of the tramway, on the Quai de la Gironde, Paris, the reverse background image is a screen grab of Trento city centre from OpenStreetMap, and public domain icons were sourced from the Noun Project.
